Thames River Citizen Science Workshop

We worked with Joe Pecorelli and Thea Cox at the Zoological Society of London to develop and facilitate a collaborative workshop, bringing together people from water companies, regulators and Government Agencies, and conservation organisations.

Together we looked at what indicators of river health are needed for a comprehensive monitoring scheme, and what citizen science projects are already doing in this area. We identified priorities and monitoring gaps that might be fruitful for future citizen science project design.

The workshop is part of a bigger project led by ZSL and funded by Esmée Fairbairn.
